Water Safety Day at Brunswick Community College

Brunswick Community College is hosting a free, family-friendly Water Safety Day on Friday, May 16th, from 4–7 p.m. at the Odell Williamson Auditorium parking lot. The event aims to raise awareness about water safety and prevent water-related accidents. Highlights include CPR and rescue demos, drowning prevention tips, lifejacket fittings, kids' activities, emergency equipment displays, and free educational resources.

Odell Williamson Auditorium is located at 150 College Road NE in Bolivia.

Suspect in Bolivia Food Stand Egg Caper Identified

On April 10th, 21st, and 22nd, the suspect was seen stopping at the end of the complainant’s driveway and taking cartons of eggs. The suspect is believed to be driving a newer model white Mitsubishi crossover. The suspect has been identified but the name wasn’t revealed. She didn’t know there was a camera so we guess the yolk’s on her….

Take Me Out to the Trash Dump! (For Free)

Brunswick County’s next free cleanup week continues today through April 26th at the Brunswick County landfill. Residents and property owners can dispose of just about anything except for household and hazardous waste. See the complete list at the Brunswick County website. You will be expected to show proof of ownership or residency.
