Walker Jenkins, South Brunswick Alum, Promoted to Triple-A and Closing in on Majors

Former South Brunswick High School standout Walker Jenkins is now just one step from the majors after being promoted to the Minnesota Twins’ Triple-A affiliate, the St. Paul Saints. The 20-year-old outfielder, drafted 5th overall by the Twins in 2023, has put together an impressive season, batting .304 with 8 home runs and 26 RBIs across three teams. At his current pace, many expect Jenkins could make his MLB debut as early as 2026. (WWAY)
