Missing Brunswick County Teenager Found Safe
According the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office, 15 year old Deandre Daniels was found safe.

Another Alligator Rescued, From Fun?
Brunswick County Sheriff Deputy Wissler responded to a call of a baby alligator in a pool in Ocean Isle Beach.
Many States’ Fish and Wildlife agencies teamed up to create gatorwise.com - a resource to help us live with the growing alligator population. Information includes what to do if you come across of the reptiles.

Adult Spelling Bee is Tonight, Spelling for Silliness?
The Brunswick County Literacy Council is having an “Adult Spelling Bee” to raise funds. The 35th annual event will have awards for the best costume, best cheering section and there will be food and a silent auction. It is tonight from 7pm to 9pm at the Odell Auditorium at Brunswick Community College located at 150 College Road NE in Bolivia. Tickets are $5, a donation but we can do better than that, right? The doors open at 5:30pm
Update for Magnolia Greens Home Explosion
An explosion in the Three Oaks section of the Magnolia Greens community in Leland occurred around 7:30 p.m. Friday and remains under investigation. Officials have found no indication of criminal activity. The blast caused severe damage to four homes, rendering them uninhabitable due to structural and electrical issues, while about 92 other units were assessed and found to have only minor damage.
Residents described the explosion as a massive boom, with one home reportedly destroyed. Community members are still in shock but are coming together to support each other. Emergency response teams were praised for their swift and effective efforts, with police and other services remaining on site throughout the night. Read the rest of the story at wwaytv3.com.

Paint Night at Leland Brewing Company Tomorrow
The next painting event at LBC will feature "Under the Bridge" on a 16x20 canvas—perfect for a fun Ladies Night Out! The event takes place Wednesday and begins promptly at 6:30 pm.
